CAREER INTERESTS: Continuing research in earthquake and landslide hazards, particularly utilizing trenching and thermoluminescence/radiocarbon dating; tectonic geomorphology; Quaternary stratigraphy, soil stratigraphy; remote sensing applications in engineering geology; geologic data input to governmental policy planning; international exchanges with Second and Third World countries.
